The Sump is a level found within Blight, the first hub of Deathkings of the Dark Citadel.
It is a swampy place centered around a deep reservoir. The player has to unlock three areas of the level, which feature a series of sewer-like tunnels with varying slime levels, a lava-filled cave and a strange multi-layered area.
One of the planet jewels is located within this level, accessible after the reservoir has been filled via redirected slime flows.
